This is the most adorable audition ever.
Shaney-Lee, a seven-year-old girl living on a farm in southwest England, shares her home with different animals like hens, goats, and horses. She has a deep love for country and western music. When she participated in the blind audition on “The Voice Kids” UK, she chose John Denver’s version of “Take Me Home, Country Roads” as it perfectly matched her fondness for the countryside.
The judge asked, “Have you ever ridden a horse before?” i.am asked. Shaney-Lee confidently replied, “I rode here today.” This small detail added to the charm he had already shown on stage.
As soon as he stepped onto the stage, the audience was charmed by his cute looks. The judges quickly noticed his charm, but they were in for a surprise when they heard him sing.
Judge Danny Jones exclaimed, “That voice is the most adorable I’ve ever heard!” as he started singing, “Life is ancient there, older than the trees, younger than the mountains, flowing like a gentle wind, country roads, lead me back home…”.
The audience was captivated. They stood up, applauded, and a few even became emotional within the initial twenty seconds.
Shaney-Lee stood out among the 7-14 year olds on “The Voice Kids” UK with his charming personality. His mom described him as “an older person in a little man’s body.”
