I have the highest admiration for those who challenge the norms of aging.
It brings me so much joy to learn about older individuals engaging in activities typically linked to much younger generations, like mountain climbing, biking, or playing video games.
At first glance, you may not be shocked to discover that this woman has been called “the world’s most beautiful grandmother” for many years.
However, she also embodies the notion that youth and beauty can coexist.
Yazemeenah Rossi has adorned the covers of magazines globally since her birth in Corsica, France, on December 21, 1955.
Additionally, she has sustained an acting career throughout the years, featuring in films such as Timeless Beauty, Relevator, and The Grasslands.
The French model and actress began her career later than most, starting almost at the age of 30 instead of as a teenager.
She reveals the secret behind her beauty.
Even in the early days of her career, Yazemeenah challenged the notion that models have to be young.
“By the time I was 20, I was already a mother of two, working from home, creating clothes, knitting, and doing interior design for friends and private clients. I had known since my teenage years that I would never be suited for a traditional office job or remain in one place for my entire life, so even while raising my children, I was very active and independent,” she shared in 2020.
Even with her extensive experience in the modeling industry, she asserts that youth remains highly valued in this field.
“There was a period, several years back, when I began to hope that things would slowly shift and we would witness an increase in older models, but that never materialized. I truly think that both men and women share similar worries about aging, even if men may discuss it less openly. No one enjoys watching their skin succumb to the effects of gravity. However, aging is also a beautiful process because it brings strength over time,” Yazemeenah shared with Vice.
“Age is truly a mindset. When you stay in touch with your inner child, you can rejuvenate your energy and maintain that vitality. It’s important to embrace a playful, adventurous, and curious spirit,” she explains, noting that there aren’t any genuine “magic tricks” to maintain a youthful appearance.
“I haven’t undergone any cosmetic procedures up to this point. The thought of having surgery when I’m in good health doesn’t really resonate with me.”
Yasmina Rossi, the ageless beauty, has received praise for embracing and honoring her natural looks over the years.
“I apply oil to my skin. I use rapeseed oil for my hair. Once a week, I exfoliate my skin with a mixture of olive oil and fine sugar, and I consume an avocado daily along with organic meat and fish,” she shared with The Potion Tree.
Yazemeenah is celebrating her 70th birthday tomorrow! Wishing a very Happy Birthday to this wonderful person!
However, she has no plans to slow down. In an interview with The Daily Mail, she stated, “I will model until the end of my life,” and went on to say, “But it’s not about modeling, it’s about witnessing, witnessing beauty, energy makes us alive…”
