Artist Jeffro Uitto creates magnificent animal sculptures using salvaged driftwood found off the coast of Washington. Those creations have given a second life to wood that has already given so much to our planet.

His workshop is Knock on Wood, near Willapa Bay, Uitto. He collects driftwood from the shores of Tokeland, the banks of Smith Creek, or the valleys between the Willapa Hills.

In 2013, we last featured Uitto’s jaw-dropping work and he has continued to create the most beautiful driftwood sculptures we’ve seen since then. You can check out Jeff’s work at the links below for more.
