Very often it happens that the finances are not too big to be able to indulge in certain whims. When you go to the supermarket, too often you want to buy different products to make delicious dishes, but unfortunately it has to come from your own pocket, and it may happen that it is not deep enough and you are forced to deny yourself certain products and it have to do with what you can buy.
This old woman, who did not have enough money to buy the products she needed, decided to hide them in her bag. Let’s see what happened next.
An 82-year-old elderly woman was walking down the aisles of the grocery store when she realized she didn’t have enough money to buy what she needed. At that time, she thought about what she could do, she could not buy the products she needed, but she still had to cook something for lunch. So, making sure no one saw her, she took some cans of tuna and sauce and put them in her purse. Then she went to the exit without paying.
Once past the cash registers, however, the woman was stopped by the director of the supermarket. She immediately understood that she had been discovered, and at that moment she could not hold back her tears, and with teary eyes she looked at the man and asked him: “Please don’t call the police. I don’t want my grandchildren to know that their grandmother is a thief is”.
The woman’s intention was not to steal products, her action was motivated by necessity. The director, having heard the woman’s story, understood the situation and decided to turn a blind eye and let her go with what she had taken. “Come here whenever you want. A few euros won’t change my life, I hope I gave you a smile”.
The man explained that by now he can immediately understand the difference between the real thieves and those who do it out of necessity. After the incident, he went to his associates and explained the situation. “I thought it might be my mother, so I gave her what she took. I don’t feel like a hero at all, I’ve always worked with sacrifice and honesty and when I can, I try to help others”.
