Armenian photographer, Suren Manvelyan loves to photograph animals from very close. In his photos, you’ll be surprised by all the little details that they hide.
The photographer said in a recent interview with Bored Panda that he came up with the idea for the series after doing a similar one with human eyes. “After the first project, I had really improved in shooting eyes in any conditions, and eventually settled on the idea to photograph animal eyes.”

Suren explained that the animals have different eyes as they have to adapt to the conditions that they live in. “Water animals have completely different eyes than those living on earth, too. I think this is what makes the animal eye series so interesting to the viewer.” He has turned his photo series into a little game, he would upload a photo and the fans would try to guess which animal it belongs to.
